"Cherry Bomb" is the first single from Isabella Lovestory´s debut album, Amor Hardcore. The track is produced by frequent collaborator Chicken. The song samples "Chulin Culin Chunfly" by Voltio and Calle 13. The music video arrives accompanied by self-directed visuals that pull from Ryū Murakami’s 1992 pink film Tokyo Decadence. Isabella Rodriguez Rivera, known professionally as Isabella Lovestory is a Honduran-born Canadian singer-songwriter, DJ, producer and jewellery designer. She is known for her creative lyricism and eclectic and wide range of styles. Rodriguez grew up in Tegucigalpa, Honduras before moving to Burke, Virginia at the age of thirteen. Her mother, Wendy Rivera, is an architect and designed the house in which Isabella grew up in Honduras. Her father, Hector Rodriguez, was a radio show host back in Honduras, exposing Isabella and her younger brother Andrés to different kinds of music ranging from glamorous to grunge[1]. From a young age, Rodriguez was drawn to female pop icons and to the world of prestige these stars would embody. She participated in many talent shows in her youth. "When I was little, I wanted to be like Britney Spears. I was so obsessed." Growing up in Honduras, Rodriguez was also exposed to reggeaton, which remains one of the main influences in her work.
