Antonio Herrera Pérez, whose stage name is Junior H, is a Mexican singer-songwriter in the corridos tumbados and sierreño movements. Born on April 23, 2000, in the town of Cerano, Guanajuato, Mexico, he and one of his friends would write lyrics growing up since they did not know how to play instruments yet. At the age of 15, he and his family moved to the state of Utah, United States. While in high school, at 17 years old, he worked at a local sandwhich shop and learned to play instruments, mainly the guitar. One day, he would upload songs onto YouTube, under the name "Junior H", without any of his friends or family knowing. After a month, without checking, he decided to check his uploaded songs and upon seeing "No He Cambiado" had gained views and supportive comments. The song had attracted the attention of Jimmy Humilde, owner of the independent label Rancho Humilde, who contacted Junior H and signed him onto the label. At that time, he met labelmate Natanael Cano and collaborated with him often. Junior H has, since then, released eight albums, the latest being $ad Boyz 4 Life II. Read more on Last.fm.
