7 Notas 7 Colores

Spanish hip-hop act 7 Notas 7 Colores was formed in Barcelona in 1993 by producer Dive Dibosso and MC Mucho Muchacho (born Oliver Gallego). Known by their twisting lyrics and powerful performances, this rap act founded their own label, La Madre, releasing a few singles and 7 Notas 7 Colores' debut album, called Hecho, Es Simple. After being discovered by producer Juan Brujo in 1998, Dive Dibosso and MC Mucho Muchacho signed up to Kool Arrow, issuing their album in the U.S. Another MC, Eddy la Sombra, joined the band after the recording of Hecho, Es Simple; after that 7N7C released 77 in 1999 (including a track featuring El-P from Company Flow) and La Mami Internacional in 2000. The band split in 2002 and Mucho Muchacho released a solo album and worked as a DJ in Eivissa before forming 7N7C again in 2007 with a new lineup: Mucho, Principiante and DJ Vadim.
