About 9

About 9 is English producer, musician and beat-maker Jake Skinner. He blends his instrumental background with electronic production to create beautifully crafted downtempo music awash with haunting melodies and meticulously thought out headnodic beats. Jake was approached by hip independent label Summer Rain Recordings in 2008 with whom he released 2 EP's, 'Comfortable Silence' in 2008 and 'Skies' in 2010. He has also released music through Pretty Neat records, as well as remixing tracks by several artists including To Kill a King and High Hopes Society, and he has worked on independent film and TV soundtracks.
