Adé Hakim

Adé Hakim Sayyed, also known by Sixpress, is an American rapper and producer. He was a member of the New York City experimental hip hop collective Slums. The group consisted of Adé Hakim, MIKE, King Carter, Jazz Jodi (Jazz.10k), Darryl Johnson, and Mason Dreiling. This group possibly influenced the sound of Earl Sweatshirt's album "Some Rap Songs", and is sometimes credited for ushering in a new renaissance of underground hip-hop, sometimes called "jazz-rap" or "abstract hip-hop". Adé Hakim is also credited with many production credits, like Earl Sweatshirt's "Nowhere2go", Medhane's "Albany2vernon", and many other songs. Read more on Last.fm.
