Born Alejandro Carrera, Ale (AH-leh) has been greatly influenced by his family's musical talent, specifically his father, the late Minnesota latin jazz pioneer, Jose Carrera. With his brother (songwriter/producer/rapper Cid Valley) and best friend (singer/songwriter/producer Tim Grady) serving as executive producers, Ale's many influences have come to bear on his debut. Ale is creating an industry business model for the 21st century, releasing digital singles in succession instead of focusing on a full album. With each new single, Ale shows that radio hits needn't come from a high priced ‘hit factory‘; instead, a passion for songwriting, an instinct for production, and an ability to build and maintain an online presence are all Ale needs to claim a place in the game.
