Amanda Somerville

Amanda Somerville is an American singer-songwriter and vocal coach better known for her collaborations with various European metal bands. Since 1999 she has resided and worked mainly in Germany and the Netherlands. Her voice range is lyrical mezzo-soprano, her solo career focuses on soft and elegant pop/rock with some hard rock, folk and soul music influences. Her solo discography includes a notable incursion on operatic metal: Aina: Days of Rising Doom. In a business where image often overshadows substance, Amanda Somerville gives the industry CPR with a breath of sincerity through music that is so real, it's goosebump-inducing. The windows to this songwriter's soul are her songs, which are ambient and groovy, yet extremely radio-friendly. Combining heart and soul with hit song-writing, you're bound to be moved. Since 2000, Amanda has resided and worked mainly in Germany and the Netherlands . In that time, she has independently sold over 7,000 CDs of her solo work and gainned thousands of fans all over the world.
