Aygul Ulkenbaeva

Aigul Ulkenbaeva is a Kazakh performer on the dombra, a two-stringed, long-necked lute. Originally from Atyrau, in the west of Kazakhstan, an area with a strong tradition of instrumental music, Aigul began learning the dombra at the age of five and gave her first concerts when she was seven.
