Beatdrop

Beatdrop is the alias of Dain Olsen, DJ and producer. Responsible for contributions to Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2 (PS2), Universe 2 (360), and Universe 3 (360), he continues to release his self-produced creations for free to the public as he has since he started producing music in early 2001. Creating a wide array of electronically stylized music--from Breaks to Trance to Hard Dance to Electro House--he continually reinvents his style with every album release while still remaining true to the characteristic heavily synthesized and heavily rhythmic sound for which he is renowned. Beatdrop has also been a long-time contributor to the amateur video game music arrangement scene, providing remixes of music from an assortment of classic (and obscure) video games to OverClocked ReMix and VGMix. More recently, he has established a name for himself as a skilled DJ, holding a residency at Alter Solum in Honolulu, HI, and routinely providing the dancefloor with one-of-a-kind remixes concocted solely for that purpose.
