Blay Vision

Tottenham's Blay Vision is another man of these dual talents, responsible for one of the best instrumental grime mixtapes of last year ('The Vision'). Having received props from some of the grime scene's biggest and best, Jme recently recognised Blay's unique vision, hopping on the addictive 'Gone Mad' for a verse. Almost entirely self-produced, 'Turner Ave' is Blay's debut album on J-Cush's Lit City Trax that sees him going for gold, spitting over his own beats as well as those of Mazza Beats and Teeza. Named after the street the MC/producer grew up on, the album is packed full of introspective lyricism, no-frills bangers and the video game stylings that informed his youth. There's even a halloumi-themed skit on there. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
