CQ

There are two bands called "CQ". A Japanese shoegaze band and a dutch "black skacore" band. CQ is a Japanese shoegaze band formed in 2014. Band disbanded as of 2018. Some members joined the band Tokyo Shoegazer. Vo&Gt.Jun Shibuya(ex.honeydip/ex.tron) Gt.Kiyomi Watanabe(ex.acid android/ex.Tokyo Shoegazer) Gt.Yoshitaka Sugahara(ex.Tokyo Shoegazer) Ba.Wako Ooba Dr.Hiroshi Sasabuchi (ex.Tokyo Shoegazer/Creature Creature) http://www.cqband-jp.com CQ was a dutch black skacore band formed in Alphen aan den Rijn in 2002. Without any musical experience prior to forming the band, CQ's members miraculously developed into something relatively close to what is often referred to as 'musicians'. The band has gained some notoriety due to comical and nonsensical songwriting and humor used in live performances. Other than that, their antics (frequently having little to do with anything musical) are well-known in the Alphen aan den Rijn region and often looked upon with some disgust. The band has since disbanded, due to the disappearance of lead singer / guitarist Gert-Jan. Steef has gone on to play drums in metal band Gnadab. Sjoerd plays drums for a band that is so far without a name. The band comprises the following members: Gert-Jan: vocals / guitar Sjoerd: vocals / bass-guitar Steef: drums / back-up vocals Vincent: no actual function http://www.cqmusic.nl Read more on Last.fm.
