Dj Pickee

DJ Pickee is an american DJ, producer, and remix artist that became famous for remixing popular pop songs as well as less mainstream (but still widely popular) electronica songs. He has remixed songs from the main stream artists such as Katy Perry (I Kissed A Girl), Good Charlotte (Dance Floor Anthem), Paramore (CrushCrushCrush), Leona Lewis (Bleeding Love) and less famous tron-pop artists such as Kill Paradise (All For You, Radio Arcade, Break Your Bones, Fall From A Star), J Bigga (April), Blood On The Dance Floor (Blood On The Dace Floor), and Breathe Carolina (Lovely). DJ Pickee has gained most of his widespread popularity due to his myspace page where you can listen to his music as well as his new tracks. He, on average, seems to release one new remixed track ever 4 or 5 weeks. He has one full-length CD under his belt and is currently working on a second one. The first CD he released was entitled "Panic! At The Rave" and included 15 songs, alot of which were not original tracks, but remixed. The CD was put up for sale, but it was also available for download on certain websites for free. He is currently working on his second album, geared more towards original songs. In March of 2008, in a blog posted on his Myspace page, DJ Pickee announced that he was on a quest to find a suitable male or female vocalist to team up with for his upcoming original album. Alot of his fans replied, and on July 30, 2008, he announced his partner for the new album, Leeland James, a long with a suspected album release date of late November 2008. Read more on Last.fm.
