Elhaida Dani

Elhaida Dani is an Albanian singer, born in the city of Shkodër in 1993. Rising to fame after winning Star Academy Albania back in 2009 and Top Fest in 2012. Later that year Elhaida participated in The Voice of Italy, becoming the winner with more than 70% of the public's vote. Elhaida studied to play the piano from the age of 6, and began to appear on national television in 2008. She has participated in numerous musical events all over the Balkans also winning two competitions in Bulgaria and Romania. Elhaida participated in the 53rd edition of Festivali i Këngës in hope of representing Albania in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. Her entry "Diell" won the contest and will go on to represent her home nation in Austria. Read more on Last.fm.
