Gramophonedzie

Gramophonedzie (born Marko Milicevic) is a Serbian DJ from where he also studied Sound Design at the Belgrade University. His passion for funky music, live instruments and intensive vocals has resulted in a couple of songs released under the name “Gramophonedzie”. He started his career in the year 2000 as participant at the Irish RedBull Music Academy. In 2006 he composed the theme tune for Veliki Brat, Serbian version of popular TV reality show Big Brother. His biggest success is a track called “Why Don’t You” where he has sampled an old swing track (the Peggy Lee 1942 lounge banger "(Get Me Some Money Too)", that brought Gramophonedzie to the lights of the global house scene and got him signed with Virgin/Positiva records. He is one more perspective remixers in south eastern Europe area - Serbia, Belgrade.
