Harmless

Nacho Cano, born on July 2, 1992, in Toluca, Mexico, is a dream pop musician based in Los Angeles, California. Cano learned to play instruments at a young age, and during his adolescence, he commenced recording and archiving his compositions. As a bedroom producer and songwriter, his tracks encapsulate themes of dreams, solitude, and youthful freedom. Cano initiated his musical journey under the alias Twin Cabins, but when he didn't feel connected to that name, he changed it to Harmless. He has also released music as Canito. His debut album, "I'm Sure," was released on August 14, 2012. Building on his debut, Cano released his second album, "Harmless Fantasies," on July 7, 2015. In September 2017, Cano was hit by a drunk driver, sustaining severe injuries that included a broken pelvis, five broken ribs, spinal injuries, and facial trauma. On January 31, 2020, Cano introduced the EP "Condiciones," adorned with cover art by Brian Smee, presenting a painted interpretation of a photograph taken during Cano's hospitalization following the aforementioned accident. In a communication to his fans on November 1, 2021, Cano conveyed the challenges he faced as a disabled artist in the wake of the accident.
