Some of his biggest influences are Alan Jackson, George Jones, George Strait, Mark Chesnutt, Joe Diffie and David Lee Murphy. Thompson also likes some rock acts such as R.E.M.,Toad the Wet Spocket and Hall & Oates. He writes every song Unfortnatly J.LThompson was born with “Cerebral Palsy” . He is wheelchair bound. It is his awesome atitude and zest for life,that makes life bareable, not to mention his raging sense of humor!
