Johnny Thompson, better known by their stage name JOHNNASCUS (stylized in all caps), is an artist from Austin, Texas. JOHNNASCUS is a former member of the Hip-Hop group Spider Gang, joining in 2018, roughly two years after they had started publicly uploading music on Bandcamp, and leaving in early 2022. JOHNNASCUS' sound challenges the barriers of Hip-Hop, often merging it with sounds of abrasive harsh noise & distorted basslines, Their vocals can range from screamo to a high pitched, melodic vocal ranges depending on the song, as they tend to experiment with many different genres, subgenres & ways to execute them.
