Jacques Houdek

Željko Houdek Jacques was born on 14 April 1981 and now lives in Velika Gorica. He completed his primary music education (piano) and finished secondary music school (solo singing). He polished his singing techniques at seminars in France (summer 2000), Italy (summer 2001) and Greece (autumn 2001) where he worked with teacher Donna McElroy who was nominated for Grammy in 1991. In 2001 he enrolled at Berkley College of Music. Having completed his music education and having polished his craft as a club singer, he decides to start his music career. He met Boris .. and started his collaboration on the fourth and the fifth album of Colonia where he sings and arranges songs and also sings a duet Nikad više (album Milijun godina od nigdje) with Indira. His first single was Christmas Night. He had his first concert in the club Sax in 2000 where he performed old hits. Although he had his first TV appearance at Crofest in Concert hall Vatroslav Lisinski when he was 13, he says that he really started his career at Dora 2002 where he performed a song Magic.
