Bio John Christian Contreras known in the music world as Jay Chris is a bilingual recording artist, producer and songwriter. His distinctive style and crossover appeal characterized by his ability to rap and sing in English and Spanish alike has made his music stand out in the industry, by being notable on both markets. Jay Chris is an American Artist of Colombian decent, known for incorporating fusions of many different musical genres in one, including Hip Hop, R&B, Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Dancehall and Reggaeton, to name a few. He has toured the country with some of the biggest artists on his musical genre, like Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Pit Bull, Tito El Bambino, J Alvarez, Plan B, Tony Dize, Jowell Y Randy, and to open up festivals like Calibash, which is the biggest urban music festival in the west coast, organized by La Mega in Los Angeles. Two of his previous videos have been featured on MTV Tres- and Mun2, and featured in programming for both Univision and Telemundo. This song tells the story of a hardworking man, who loses his wife and daughter in a car accident, only to realize it was a dream, and to awaken him to the reality that a job is necessary, but it should never take priority over family. The third single from this next album features, King Lil G, which is a promising up in coming artist from Los Angeles. The name of the song is “Fresh as is” And showcases Jay Chris’s versatility by taking it back to English hip hop, from a Latin prospective.
