Kelly de Almeida Afonso Freitas, known professionally as Kelly Key, is a Brazilian presenter, singer, songwriter and businesswoman. In 2004 she also debuted as an art director for her own shows. Academically, Kelly graduated as a teenager in the performing arts course at Teatro O Tablado, but never practiced the profession of actress, in addition to having graduated in business administration at Centro Universitário Augusto Motta (UNISUAM) in 2010. In 2015 she started another university course , veterinary medicine at Universidade Estácio de Sá, from which she did not graduate after becoming pregnant with her third child. Among her philanthropic work, the Federal Government's campaign to encourage the use of condoms in 2002 and the Friends of Childhood with Cancer (AMICCA) stand out, which she has been godmother since 2003. Her career began in 1999, when she signed with TV Globo and debuted as a presenter on the program Samba, Pagode & Cia. In 2015 she returned to music and released her sixth studio album, No Controle, by Deckdisc.
