Les Friction

Les Friction is an independent music group that spawned from Helmut Vonlichten, who had previously collaborated with his brother Franz Vonlichten in their group, E.S. Posthumus which produced cinematic style music. In July 22, 2010, it was officially announced that Franz had died. After giving notice of his brother's death, Helmut stated that while there still may be one or two unreleased songs, the group would no longer be active. In November 2011, it was officially announced that Helmut Vonlichten has formed a new band called Les Friction. On the 24th of January 2012, Les Friction released the first self titled album with 9 tracks, and, optional, the same 9 tracks without vocals. Read more on Last.fm.
