Louis Knight

Louis Knight (pronounced "Louie") is a British-born, Philadelphia-based pop and adult contemporary singer-songwriter. With a writing style that reflects his raw emotion, Knight's music unabashedly speaks plainly about his own deeply personal experiences about love, loss, and hope. Knight's latest release (October 2020) of the single, "Save A Little Love," demonstrates his evolution in songwriting that has gained widespread appeal. Combining old school lyrics with modern rhythmic instrumentation, "Save A Little Love" tells the story of Knight's journey of self-appreciation and marks his first mixing collaboration with 6-time Grammy Award® winning engineer Michael Brauer (John Mayer/Coldplay). Knight's first release of 2019's summer anthem "Just Kiss Me" initiated his professional music career. The press and listening audience began to quickly take notice. In September of that year, Knight released his first EP, titled “Small Victories”, after a personal mantra. The EP solidified his ability to connect with his audience. Soon after American Idol invited Knight to compete in one of the most recognized singing competitions where he achieved a Top 7 finish – winning not only an international following but critical praise from judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. From his "Small Victories" EP, the song “Change” is regarded as Knight's most influential song to-date. About “Change”, Philadelphia Weekly wrote, “…it’s a stunning example of Knight’s ability to translate his emotions and experiences into meaningful pop songs for the masses.” 2020 marked many highlights for Knight, including a ranking as a Top 20 Global Television Personality and a loyal social media following achieved through his commitment to personally connect with his followers - showing himself to be genuinely true to himself and his craft. Knight's philanthropic efforts are aligned to all his work both professionally and personally.
