Mothers Pride

Mothers Pride, previously called Mother's Pride from 1989 to 2001, is a pop/rock band from Lucerne, Switzerland. They dropped the apostrophe from their name when they reformed in 2007, releasing the album mothers pride. Until their breakup in 2001, Mothers Pride performed as Mother's Pride (with the apostrophe) and were one of the most successful bands in Lucerne, Switzerland. They had national hits, such as Pretend, Goodbye/Suicide and My Baby Loves You, which earned them a local hero status. Mothers Pride (2007) are: Tobi Gmür – Vocals /Guitars, Samuel Gallati - Guitars / Vocals, Kuno Studer - Bass, Domi Meyer - Drums, Andy Meili – Hammond. Please note: the reggae/ska band from Berlin, Germany, is called Mother's Pride (never without the apostrophe). Finally, there's Mother's Pride, the British psychedelic rock band from the late 1960s: they are sometimes referred to as Mothers Pride, but Mother's Pride is the preferred and most commonly used spelling for them.
