Odd Project

R.I.P. Original line-up (2002 - 2006): Matt Lamb - Vocals Scott Zschomler - Lead guitar and vocals Eric Cline - Bass and backup vocals Greg Pawloski - Guitar Christian Escobar - Drums Final line-up (November 2007): Michael "Jag" Jagmin - Vocals Mike Knowlton - Guitar Jonathan Kintz - Bass and backup vocals Christian Escobar - Drums "We are just a band that writes music which people happen to like", says guitarist Scott Zschomler. Odd Project originally formed in 2000 and has recorded a few demos which caught the eye of many in the record industry resulting in a multi-album deal with Indianola Records. With their new chance to shine, Odd Project jumped into Zing Studio's (Killswitch Engage, From Autumn to Ashes, The Agony Scene) and recorded "The Second Hand Stopped" in just less than 2 weeks. With their new release now out, they toured for over a month and a half and managed to win a spot on the main stage at Hellfest 2004. The buzz has been selling albums out all over the United States; Odd Project has now made a name for themselves in the music industry. It is no wonder they were voted the "#1 Metal Band" on MP3.com, not by the fans, but by MP3.com themselves. The power of their live performance, the showmanship, and their clear musical talent are some of the reasons Odd Project is able to SELLOUT clubs such as CHAIN REACTION (Anaheim, CA), one of the most competitive and "Industry Exposed" venues in Orange County, and THE GLASSHOUSE (Pomona, CA). Playing with National acts such as Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Killswitch Engage, and Norma Jean, and being in recent magazines such as Alternative Press, Metal Hammer, Revolver, and Amp has given Odd Project the utmost exposure and drive to become the next most talked about band in 2005. After personal differences with the rest of the band, vocalist Matt Lamb left the band in 2006. His last show with the band was at Chain Reaction on May 25th, 2006. Matt hasn't announced any other plans yet and Odd Project has found a new vocalist, Michael "Jag" Jagmin, and are now in the process of recording their new album "Lovers Fighters Sinners Saints". After the release of "Lovers Fighters Sinners Saints", Scott Zchlomer and Christian Escobar left the band, leaving no original members of Odd Project remaining. As of now, Odd Project has decided not to change their name, and have chosen to not play any songs before Lovers Fighters Sinners Saints with respect to the original line-up. Odd Project officially called it quits in late '07, where current vocalist "Jag" moved on to sing for A Skylit Drive. Drummer Christian Escobar currently manages what remains of the band's existence.
