Olena Usenko

Olena Usenko (Born in 18/06/2007, Bila Tserkva, Ukraine), also known as Ellen or Lena, is an Ukrainian singer and composer who currently lives and studies in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. In 2020, Olena tried to represent Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, but finished as a runner-up. In 2021, she tried again and got selected to represent her country with the song “Vazhil” (Leverage) [Ukrainian: Важіль]. Olena described her song as ‘a call to live to the full; fill your life with beautiful moments, be yourself and be conscious of every moment of your life. Time flies, and life is the most important thing that we have. So we must value our life and live it as we believe is right.’ She ended up 6th place out of 19th countries with 125 points.
