Red Queen

From its beginnings as a band, Red Queen was known for its electrifying and aggressive live shows. The frantic, electronic and distorted sound of the group caught the attention of Alan Mcgee (Oasis, Glasvegas, The Libertines), nicknamed the Red McQueen quintet when they were discovered during a visit to Mexico. During 2007 Red Queen entered the studio under the production of Yamil Rezc (Le Baron, Subdivision, Hello Seahorse). During this year, Nike raised an advertising campaign using the first single of the band "Baby Machine" as the main theme for their commercials. During this year Red Queen was opening shows for bands like Los Dynamite, Chikita Violenta and Los Odio. Rolling Stone magazine published an article about Red Queen including it among the 15 most promising bands of 2007. Urban Sounds, a book that successfully includes the current Mexican musical movement, recognized the group as one of the bands with greater influence and weight within of the Mexican undergound scene. Red Queen will release its first EP during 2010. The album titled ADULT FRUTMAN is being produced by Red Queen and Eduardo Pacheco (The Dynamite).
