Rökkurró

Rökkurró is an Icelandic five-piece folk-rock band from Reykjavík, Iceland formed in 2006. They released a four-track EP six months after their formation, which helped to gain them a record deal with a local label: 12 Tónar. They released their first album Það kólnar í kvöld... (It gets colder tonight) in November 2007. In June 2008 Rökkurró toured Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland supporting Ólafur Arnalds. In March/April 2009 they went on a three-week tour around Europe stopping in Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, and The Netherlands. The follow-up album Í Annan Heim (meaning In Another World) was released in August 2010 ans was produced by Alex Somers. Rökkurró began working on their third studio album in 2013, to be released mid-2014. Read more on Last.fm.
