Sinéad Lohan

Sinéad Lohan (born in 1972 in Cork) is an Irish singer and songwriter of folk music and folk-inspired popular music who recorded two successful albums in the 1990s. She released her first album in 1995. Her website became defunct in April 2010. Lohan released two albums, "Who Do You Think I Am" in 1995, and "No Mermaid" in 1998, both of which enjoyed moderate success in Ireland, the UK, and the US. "No Mermaid", the title track of her second album featured in the movie 'Message in a Bottle'. The song was also performed by Joan Baez on her 1997 release Gone from Danger (in which the folk legend nurtured the next generation of singer-songwriters by performing their works). After the birth of her baby in 2001, Lohan took a break from recording and performing. An album was complete in January 2007, but never released. Her website became defunct in April 2010.
