Star Academy

A French television game show. 14 participants are placed into a big mansion, and are given singing, dancing and acting lessons. After an exam each week, the three participants with the lowest exam points enter a poll. One is saved by the TV audience, phoning in, a second by the other participants; The third is ejected. Daily viewing : one hour. On Saturdays : a prime-time show where participants sing duos with famous singers, or dance especially-written choreographies. Each season is known by a number. Second season, for example, Star Academy 2 ps : is called Star Ac' for short ;) As mentioned above, the idea of the show is French, but as many talent shows, 'Star Academy' has also made its appearance in other countries such as neighbour Belgium.
