There are at least 2 artists with this name: 1. The Armada is a band formed by Jeff Martin. Jeff Martin was the lead vocalist and frontman of the Canadian rock band The Tea Party. After the band broke up in 2005 he launched a solo career, and released his first solo album titled Exile and the Kingdom in April 2006. . In 2008 Jeff Martin and Wayne P. Sheehy formed The Armada and soon after, Gareth Forsyth was named as their bass player. The Armada's debut tour started November 2008 in Peth, Australia and travelled around the country. They also launched their self-titled album, making it available at their shows. Track No. 5, Morocco became the first single from the album. March 2009 saw Jay Cortez (ex. Sleepy Jackson & End of Fashion) become the replacement bassist. The Armada are touring through Europe and Australia in 2009. 2.
