The Willem Breuker Kollektief is a jazz group formed in 1974 by 10 musicians leaded by Dutch bandleader Willem Breuker. The band plays unconventional jazz mixed with different styles, from latin to (contemporary) classical to theater and vaudeville. The bandmembers are: Willem Breuker - soprano, alto, tenor saxophone, e flat, b flat, bass clarinet, lead vocal. André Goudbeek - alto saxophone, vocal. Peter Barkema - soprano, tenor, alto saxophone. Andreas Altenfelder - trumpet, vocal. Boy Raaymakers - trumpet, vocal. Gregg Moore - trombone, vocal. Bernard Hunnekink - trombone, tuba, vocal. Arjen Gorter - double bass. Henk de Jonge - piano, celesta, synthesizer. Rob Verdurmen - percussion, tympani. Willem Breuker also has his own label BVHaast He sadly passed away on July 23, 2010.
