Wynn Williams is known as the Singing Cowboy! A graduate of Texas A&M and a former member of the Rodeo Team, this young phenom spends his “spare” time doing what he loves best – performing. In the cowboy department, Wynn has won several honors as a Steer Wrestler, including NTHSRA Finals, Region III Finals, IYFR and Texas State Qualifier. In the singing department, he was named 2011 Wildcatter Idol, 2012 Roo Idol, FFA Regional, State and National Talent Champion and has performed for crowds of 5,000+ at the National FFA Talent Showcase. He was also featured in Las Vegas during the 2013, 2014, and 2015 WNFR, where he entertained on four stages including the Mandalay Bay Mizuia Lounge, and MGM Gold Buckle Stage. Other concert venues include ACM’s Las Vegas, the Texas State High School Rodeo Finals in Abilene, TX, East Parker County Boomin’ 4th for a cheering crowd of 12,000+, the 2014/2015/2016 Parker County Sheriff’s Posse PRCA Rodeo After Party Dance and New Year’s Eve Celebration, the 2015 American Semi Finals Fort Worth Stockyards, 2016 The American Finals, 2015/2016 Western Wishes Fundraiser, Texas Red’s in Red River, NM, and various venues in College Station, TX, opening and performing with the likes of Cody Johnson, James Taylor, Zane Williams and more! Although a relative newcomer to the scene, Wynn brings a wealth of talent and years of experience with his incredible band of musicians, The Hazers. While they focus on performing mostly country, they can do anything from Rock to Gospel! “Wynn’s career is moving quickly and in the right direction,” says his Manager, Bonnie Rundell. “He has all the qualities I look for when promoting great talent – perfect pitch, stage charisma, the ability to adjust and perform in unique settings, and above all Passion! “And,” she adds, “it doesn’t hurt that he’s really good looking, and a nice guy!” Wynn’s Grandfather, Warren Edwards, was a country singer and played guitar as a young man, performing with his band The Wanderer’s with the likes of Bob Wills throughout Texas. Although, Wynn never knew his Grandfather, he has been influenced by his legacy and seems to have inherited the family talent. His, Mom, Keri Williams, his Dad, Tony Williams, and his Sister, Evan Sears, are also singers and musicians. “We may include some family member back ups and guitar strumming in his upcoming album,” promises Rundell. Wynn’s style often reflects some of the influences of artists such as Josh Turner and George Strait, and he can belt a mean Michael Buble’ or Dean Martin, but he never fails to bring his own unique qualities and sound to the stage. Of course, all the talent in the world is nothing without the right team of professionals working behind the scenes.
