Yari Mejía

Yari Mejía, is a Mexican makeup artist, hair stylist, fashion designer, singer and drag artist. She is mostly known for being a regular judge on the YouTube show La Más Draga. Born in Mexico City, Yari Mejía has commented in several interviews that from a very young age she found her passion in makeup, which prompted her to become a professional makeup artist. Aware of her great talent, in 2012, Yari Mejia decided to promote her work by opening an account on Instagram, where she posted photos of her best works. Thus, Yari Mejía began to become a makeup influencer and different cosmetic brands, as well as fashion designers, began to look for her to collaborate. Before being in front of the cameras, Yari stood out while backstage for her work as a hairdresser and her 25 years of experience are the proof of her professionalism, always adding fresh and modern touches to each job she does. In addition to her professional studies in Mexico, she also has studied abroad in Los Angeles, Brazil, Japan and France. She has worked for countless television productions such as: Grammys, Premios Lo Nuestro, MTV Awards, La Voz Mexico, Bailando Por Un Sueño, Mexico Diseña, as well as for some theater, cinema, social and editorial works in magazines such as Vanidades, Cosmopolitan, GQ, Quién, Hola, Marie Claire, Esquire and Estilo DF.
