Kang Younghyun, professionally known as Young K (영케이), is a prominent figure in the K-pop band music scene, serving as the bassist and vocalist of the acclaimed band DAY6. Formed in 2015, DAY6 has gained widespread recognition for their unique sound and meaningful lyrics, and Young K's contributions have been a driving force behind their success. This served as his send-off release before entering the Korean Augmentation Troops to the United States Army (KATUSA) in October 2021, making history by being the first K-pop idol to serve in this particular military branch. He is set to release his latest album, Letters with Notes, scheduled for September 2023. Young K's musical journey is enriched by his project named 'Young One.'
