For starts, I won't pretend this is being said in the third person, but rather in first person so you know everything that is being said is from me. I'm known as DJE , a dj / producer I've been working with hip-hop groups and bands from Chicago for many years now. I got my start like many others working with local hip-hop crews around Chicago. In 1988 is when things click when I met and started working with a M.C. by the name of Rebel XD we became a group simply known as Rebel XD & DJE. It is in this group I sharpen my skills as Producer, DJ, Performer and Manager by help Rebel XD become the Worlds Fastest Rapper not once but three times, a title which he held for 13 yrs. In 1998 I started working on side projects outside the world of just hip-hop and I made a move that would set me on a very different path when I started working with and laying down dj tracks for rock and punk bands. By 2000 I was on the road touring with a Chicago funk band I became a main part of the group show dropping scratches and doing dj tricks for the next 5 years. 2006 I found myself back in the studio tracking scratches for a few major groups and watch how the music industry was changing with dj's being more in the the spotlight in 2007 I started tracking and working on his own music between working with other artist and in 2009 release his first solo project "Outta Space To Groove".
