There are several bands called Given: (1)Fictional band from the manga and animation series of the same name. (2)Given is a Nu Metal band based in Houston, formed in 1996 by Jason Wiginton and Jason Thomas. Brad Braffett, James Treadwell, and Sonny D soon filled out the roster. (3) 90's New School Hardcore outfit from Tienray, a small town in the south of Holland. the band was previously known as Big Disgrace when they were still a cover band playing covers from: Insted, Killing Time, Sick of it All and Brotherhood Foundation. They Kicked out their second singer and changed their name into Given and started writing songs themselves.
