Aida Garifullina was born on September 30, 1987, in Kazan, Russia - the capital of Republic Tatarstan. Her mother (also professional musician) was first who noticed Aida's talent. The first public performance of Aida was 5 years old. 1998 At age 11, mother brought her daughter to audition for a vocal assistant professor of Kazan State Conservatory Nina Varshavskaya. The teacher immediately recognized girl's outstanding vocal abilities, musicality, beautiful timbre and asked her give serious attention to vocals. The repertoire of arias and songs have appeared both Russian and foreign classics (Alyab'ev, Varlamov, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Caccini, Schubert, Brahms, Gershwin, etc.). 2001 At age 13 Aida became a Fellow of the Chaliapin Fund.
