“New Flesh” is the fifth song off of Wild Heart, originally released by Nick Rattigan under the pseudonym TELE/VISIONS. Compared to some of the songs on the record, the lo-fi effect creates a nostalgic and somber mood. The title most likely refers to the 1983 film, Videodrome, in which the character Max Renn delivers the line: “Death to Videodrome! Nicholas Foster Rattigan (born August 6, 1992) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist from Reno, Nevada. He currently releases music under the moniker Current Joys. His music can be characterized as indie, garage rock, shoegaze, new wave, experimental, or bedroom pop. He currently has seven albums released under the Current Joys name.
