“Pirate,” a trap-electronic influenced pop track, is an overpowering anthem about girls not only ruling the world but also making their way to the top like a pirate. It also works as the lead track off their 2021 comeback album, RETURN OF THE GIRL. In the female-empowering lyrics, the group dominates the seas as pirates gathering girls all over the world ‘to row for the crown.’ The music video showcases the girls not only in a futuristic ship set but also in a rocky yet colorful world where they show off the power they have. There are two artists that go by Everglow. 1. EVERGLOW (에버글로우) is a South Korean girl group under Yuehua Entertainment. The group consists of six members: E:U, Sihyeon, Mia, Onda, Aisha and Yiren. They made their debut on March 18, 2019, with the album Arrival of Everglow. 2. Everglow was a pop duo from Newfoundland, Canada consisting of Gordon Huxter and Jon Pike. The band released their one and only album, Ocean Season, in 2015 and broke up soon afterwards. Jon Pike would go on to form BRDGS. Read more on Last.fm.
