Hariçten Gazelciler

Hariçten Gazelciler, founded in İzmit in 2001, played their music for the audience in the bar they owned for a long time. However, when they realized that this kind of performing was actually an obstacle for them on their way to build up their own & unique sound they dismissed the band. Remaining silent for a long while, Hariçten Gazelciler invented the instrument which they called "Çağlama" in 2004. With the enthusiasm of the invention brought, they built up a new lineup and a new playlist. So they recorded their first album with this enthusiasm. The sound of "Çağlama" is a mixture of guitar and another string instrument which is also unique for Turkish music called "Bağlama". Pronunciation for Çağlama is more or less like "chaulama". 2001 yılında İzmit'te kurulan HariçtenGazelciler uzun bir süre aynı kentte kendi işlettikleri mekanlarda farklı repertuarlarıyla geniş bir dinleyici kitlesine seslendiler.Ancak bar müziğiyle uğraşmanın kendi müziklerini oluşturma yolundaki çabalarına engel olduğunu fark etmeleri üzerine grubu dağıtarak bu kulvardan ayrıldılar.Uzun bir süre sessiz kalan HariçtenGazelciler'in 2004 yılında 'çağlama' adını verdikleri müzik aletini geliştirmeleri yeni bir heyecan, kadro ve repertuarla müzik yapmalarına yol açtı.
