TOKYOPILL is an artist who makes predominantly atmospheric drum and bass and jungle, mistaken as breakcore. His popularity began from the track E t h e r e a l, originally named M e t a d a t a, gaining popularity on TikTok due to it using the anime "Serial Experiments Lain" as its aesthetic, which was also gaining popularity within the TikTok breakcore community.
