溶けない名前 (Tokenainamae, A Name That Will Never Dissolve) is a Japanese shoegaze band, originally formed in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan in March of 2012. They began independently releasing their albums until October of 2015 where they released their first nationally distributed album. Tokenainamae takes inspiration from Japanese 80s music and shoegaze. Their music is categorized as “nostalgia for adolescence, melody clad in innocence, and intense feedback noise.”
